The Permanent Secretary of Osun State Universal Basic Education Board and front- line community leader in the state of Osun, Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole has added another rank as he bagged another award based on his enormous contributions to the educational and human development of the people of the State
The award was presented by Association of Islamic Model Schools, a conglomeration of Islamic faith based private schools in the State of Osun.
The conferment ceremony was held on Monday 12th of November at GMT event centre, ring-road, Osogbo, the State capital of the State of Osun where dignitaries from all walks of life including Islamic scholars attended the programme.
While pouring encomium on Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole, the State of Osun Chairman of Association of Islamic Model Schools, Mallam Shakrullah Yaqin said the association decided to celebrate the SUBEB PS because of the many important roles he has played in bringing the association to a limelight most especially during the early days of the association when it was seeking the needed recognition from the government and related agencies.
Other awardees were the deputy Governor of the State, Otunba Titi Laoye Tomori, the Honourable Commissioner for Education in the State of Osun, Alhaji Omotunde Young, Mrs. Olajumoke Bello, a retired permanent secretary, Alhaji Kola Adefajo, Alhaji Omisore Rahmat who was pioneer Chairperson of AMIS Osun among others.k
It will be recalled precisely that on 28th October, 2018, the Baptist Church of Nigeria, Emmanuel Chapel, Oke-Ayepe, Osogbo, Osun State gave award of excellence in public service to Alhaji Fatai Adesina Kolawole where the pastor in-charge of the church, Reverend Laolu Akande also lauded the many innovations and initiatives including the far reaching reforms the government of the State of Osun introduced to the educational sector in the state.
